Your role in a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Commercial Manager to deliver data-led analytics & insight that inform commercial decision-making, with the ultimate goal of maximising business profitability & growth. This role is split between our London and Brighton offices, with two days per week worked on-site at either location and three days worked from home. 

More about the role

•Maintenance of Core Range Plan, with addition of NPD, Gifts, LE (supported by NPD manager)
•Running Reports to support Key Insight and Analysis
•System accuracy on all core product attributing
•Support Commercial Manager with Global Trading calendar, ATS and stock opportunity requirements
•Support Commercial Manager with COG change feedback to sourcing (and ad hoc on NPD COGs)
•Work closely with Commercial pricing team to enable accurate credits for trading offers and promotions
•Assist NPD Manager with Trading stock management and analysis to support business cases as needed
•Supporting Commercial Manager with analysis on key Global commercial KPIs and areas including:
  • Core Category insight, Most Loved Products and Product Lifecycles
  • Assortment - SKU count size, Global Outlet Assortment, Market gaps vs assortment
  • Global Commercial projects as required

Skills:

 

•Highly Analytical, comfortable working with large amounts of data
•Strong Organisational Skills and the ability to prioritise and multitask
•Competent verbal and written communication skills
•A strong team player with a customer focussed mindset
•Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
•Power BI an advantage
 
Experience:
 
•Experience in a merchandising / commercial role an advantage
•Experience in an omni channel environment an advantage
