Who we're looking for

We are seeking a part time (26.25 hours - 3.5 days per week) Cash Control Administator to join our Global Treausury department based at the home of The Body Shop in Littlehampton. This role will be a six month fixed term contract, currently based from home due to COVID 19 restrictions.

Your role in a nutshell

As a Cash Control Administrator you will be resposnsible for the reconciliation and clearing of point of sale (POS) realted financial transactions in Market stores and E-commerce transactions to minimise the risk of bad debt and enhance discrepancy reporting. An excellent entry level role to help kick-start a career in finance.



More about the role
  • Perform data uploads relating to credit card settlements and store cash deposits and escalate identified discrepancies in a timely mananer to the Cash Control Analyst and market finance team
  • Conduct daily clearing of financial transactions for market stores and e-commerce by tender type e.g. cash, credit/debit cards, Paypal etc.
  • Process and clear agreed write offs
  • Assist with the period, month and year end procedures and reporting
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on query resolution
  • Identify and develop areas for continuous improvement in order to increase best practice within the team
  • Contribute to the successful achievement of monthly team targets
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office including sound knowledge of Excel
  • You will learn how to use SAP finance software for journal posting and clearing
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to resolve problems with a resilient disposition
