The role in a nutshell

Do you enjoy grilling data to find hidden insights to increase trade, develop business awareness and correct field activity?

We are seeking a gifted data analyst to work for The Body Shop at Home (hybrid working) at our global HQ’s in West Sussex or London Bridge. You must have a highly analytical mindset and proven track record preferably in a data driven analysis role.

More about the role

  • Critically analyse data provided by Finance, Data & Insights and CRM teams.
  • Critically analyse the performance of rewards & incentives and promotions to provide recommendations.
  • Benchmark our commercial offers against competition on a regular basis to ensure we remain market competitive
  • Forecast commercial performance
  • Responsible for commercial analysis across one to two markets, depending on market size
  • Complete one-page summaries outlining key data, insights and recommendations to Top Leaders on how they can optimise their businesses;
  • Work closely with the Sales Development Manager and Market Sales Leads to ensure key messages, insights and recommendations are communicated to Top Leadership communities

What we look for

Modelling in Microsoft Synapse environment ideally or similar data platform software (Python, R, SAS or SQL).

Advanced Excel and SAP ideally or similar sales data platform

Experience providing analysis to drive business decision, influencing and educating stakeholders.

Relevant experience in the data modelling and data visualization

Proven track record of driving business change through data

Knowledge of the cosmetic and Retail/Direct Selling industry is preferred
