Your role

You will take a lead role in driving the product Roadmap, both conception and delivery, for our direct selling arm; The Body Shop At Home. The Body Shop At Home™ is the direct selling channel of The Body Shop established in 1994 by Anita as a fun and flexible earning opportunity for all. The Body Shop At Home™ has a community of over 80,000+ passionate Independent Consultants throughout the United Kingdom, United States and Australia.

 As the business is currently under-going significant transformation you will be the lynchpin between the business teams and the technical delivery teams. As part of an in-flight project team, you own the delivery of high quality, customer-led digital product experiences, ensuring focus on the items that will deliver the most significant business value.

You will build a shared vision, evangelizing the benefits and realistic goals for the product experience. Managing a diverse group of subject matter experts, you will need to value case various opportunities and prioritise backlogs for delivery. You will be heavily involved through the development process, undertaking UAT and show-and-tell demos to drive expansion and adoption.

You ultimate goal is to ship high-quality digital products to add incremental value and accelerate The Body Shop At Home’s digital reinvention. You are a pivotal across the organization and one of the foremost catalyst for change. This role will have a seat in front of the CEO and executive teams to champion the digital-first pillar of a fast-changing brand.

More about the role

Take a lead role and ownership of the roadmap related to the initial development and ongoing CI of the new digital products for TBSAH
To work collaboratively with the wider systems management team, IT and Business Development teams to ensure the roadmap is fully aligned to business direction, strategic goals and requirements
Support launch of all new digital products related to or integrated with the system especially those integrated such as Hyperwallet, Apps, training and social platforms and to enhance existing applications where possible in support of bus dev activities.
Work alongside technical teams, UX and BA design collegues to ensure new systems and services align to the TBSAH customer and consultants requirements
Deeply understand customer needs and gather requirements from all internal and external stakeholders
Deliver agreed benefits (both functional and financial) and ensure business efficiency is at the forefront of plans
Manage product feature prioritisation; ensuring stakeholders understand the compromises and constraints.
Provide digital product knowledge and insight for colleagues across the TBSAH team and into the wider field, work closely with Development and CI Managers to ensure this is achieved
Deliver regular communications and updated reporting to update to the business on Continuous Improvement activities / progression with roadmaps

What we look for

  • Agile development experience
  • Experience working as a business analyst and product owner with varied project delivery across Direct Selling, ecommerce, IT and change management
  • Retail/consumer facing experience or experience working in a technology company or agency environment
  • Able to deliver software development/integration projects that cover front-end, backend, online and offline
  • Able to own roadmap and help to shape this by working closely with various stakeholders internally and externall to integrate with TBSAH business strategy
  • Experience large scale system development and working in a matrix or complex global environment
  • BA/BSc or equivalent practical experience
