Your role in a nutshell

Reporting into the Global Head Of Retail Operations, you will be responsible for supporting The Body Shop stores on a global basis by providing the best tools and processes to drive productivity, the right information and best practices in order to maximise efficiencies in all store operational areas, as well lead projects and identify opportunities that support the stores by providing the right KPI measurements to allow them to invest more valuable time with our customers.

  • Lead the Retail Productivity strategy and own deployment of initiatives, measures and action plans, partnering with markets to tailor & execute performance improvement.
  • Work alongside the Retail Operations Technical Support Specialist to develop tools and systems that are best in class and offer solutions to drive efficiency and productivity that can be executed and measured globally
  • Develop strong relationships across all company markets to understand retail operations commonalities and needs and facilitate and drive a collaborative approach
  • Drive market adoption of existing and new processes and systems, providing data intelligence where required and work with commercial to produce and share ROI
  • Design, implement and maintain the global Retail Operations Manual with support from other key functions including HR, profit protection, Heath and Safely
  • Develop global store reporting requirements with markets and work with IT to drive efficiencies and leverage scale to reduce complexity
  •  Manage the roll out of specific retail projects and trials into stores, and gather learnings and analyze data to make global recommendations
  • Influence commercially controlled spend within the specific remit, working in a SMART way to reduce overall costs whilst increasing efficiency
  • Minimise the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers
What we look for

Coming from a background in Retail Area Management you will have an excellent understanding of retail process, procedures and tools. Having great analytical, communication and problem solving skills, you will be able to bring fresh new ideas to the table in order to improve and drive businesses forward in the most cost effective way. Having the ability to work well under pressure in an unstructured day is important as is having attention to detail whilst being able to see the overall bigger picture. Working knowleage of the beauty sector and Retail Operations would be useful.
