Your role in a nutshell

This is a new exciting role which is part of the Digital Workplace team based at our head office in Littlehampton. Your main responsibility will be to identify, plan, design and deliver new SharePoint Online solutions, functionality and workflows for our global communication and collaboration platform.

  • Working with key Business and Technology stakeholders, you will receive new work demand\ideas and translate these into business solutions within the platform, while adding to and managing the Book-of-Work (BoW) including assisting with prioritisation, effort estimation, efficient grouping of workloads into proposed delivery sprints, and achieving periodic approvals from the Village SteerCo.
  • Ensure reliability & availability of all SharePoint platforms, provide 3rd level support, supporting user adoption and training, implement governance procedures, monitor and provide frequent status health checks of the environment. Maintain awareness of forthcoming updates and changes by Microsoft to O365, and assess impact to service levels, planning & risk mitigation tasks, to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Working closely with strategic partners to deliver larger, complex pieces of work, you will retain overall governance, technical architecture standards and ownership of the SharePoint Online platform.
What we look for

You will be a customer focused Developer who has project management experience and a passion for SharePoint. You will love to come up with new ideas and business IT solutions and will have the expertise to plan and implemented them. Advanced skills/experience in PowerShell, HTML, CSS, Java, PowerBI, Active Directory, SharePoint and .Net is essential and a background in working in a large global environment is desirable.
