This role is a varied and fabulous introduction into the world of HR as a People Services Assistant in which you will be supporting the People Services Advisors in the provision of a first-class service to line managers, employees and UK People Partners.

Customer Support: Using a variety of formats (email, phone and our internal ticketing systems) you’ll support the resolution of queries in line with UK Policies and keep everyone informed.

Administration: the accurate and timely recording of HR elements for employee records, candidate applications and vendor invoicing all fall within this remit – so an eye for detail, great organisation skills and an ability to follow (and suggest improvements to) process is key.

Systems and Data: Systems and data both feature heavily in the HR world so you will need to be technically savvy and quick to pick up new tools and systems. You’ll have to be comfortable working with and keeping up to date large volumes of critical and sensitive data.

Smart and astute: This means being on the ball and quick to respond to changes or additions to new HR policies, able to explain HR terms and procedures to line managers and employees and be confident in providing advice and guidance (once we’ve trained you brilliantly).

Whilst it would be useful if you had a sprinkling of HR knowledge or experience, what we are really looking for is the right attitude and behaviour.

  • Proactivity – we need drive and personal motivation, plus a pride in solving queries and providing a brilliant service
  • Organised – HR has LOTS of files, information and confidential data, so you will have a natural ability with keeping things in order, confidential and under control.
  • Adaptability – in HR, like in business, things can come along that are unexpected so you’ll need to work with agility and be prepared to re-prioritise (with guidance) at the drop of a hat. And that’s partly what makes the role SO interesting.
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

The successful applicant will also be expected to occasionally travel to our global HQ in London Bridge
