Your role in a nutshell

As a passionate Assistant Category Manager, you will enjoy the responsibility of managing a part of our global category assortment at an exciting time for our brand, ensuring the range of products is at the optimal size for ultimate success. As someone who thrives on having a direct impact on successful products launches across the globe you will work closely with our partners in New Product Development and across our markets to execute excellent Global initiatives e.g. Refill stations. You will excel at performance reporting and running standardised category reporting to support Markets as well as taking the role further to run Category deep dives (briefed by markets) to help identify trends, risks and opportunities. Responsible for successful launches of NPD across the globe and performance reporting from launch.

More about the role

  • Category reporting with a focus on supporting markets and identifying trends to discuss with Revenue Managers with a view to highlight risks, opportunities and share best practice.
  • You will support the simplification of the business case and pricing process to ensure we support Brand in seizing the Revenue and Customer Growth opportunities with New Product Development whilst removing all inefficiencies
  • Agreeing the Global Assortment in Collaboration with Brand and Market Revenue Managers following category & project deep dives for Markets with actionable insights.
  • Consultative experts on respective categories for Revenue Managers and NPD performance reporting to support Revenue Managers in shaping listing and launch plans.
  • Collaborating with Category Analysts to understand Event Performance and ensure they are really omnichannel in their analytics and share best practice Globally

  • You will have proven experience in a Commercial/Merchandise role
  • An expert on analysing performance figures you have a passion for driving and influencing decision making
  • Ideally previous experience in a Global business
  • Able to Influence across functions and with senior managers
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for the business
  • Profit and results focused
  • Demonstrates impact and influences change
  • Sensitive and aligned to Brand purpose
