The Body Shop

When Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in 1976, she had a vision. Business as a force for good – that’s us. Over 40 years later, we’re proud to be pioneering cruelty-free beauty every step of the way. We’re the original ethical beauty brand. We’ve got a thing for empowering people and enriching our planet. We’re all about keeping it real, in every way possible. Our activist roots remain a huge part of everything we do, from our iconic window posters to our vegetarian products to our infamous campaigns. We’re never afraid to stand up and speak the truth. We like to do things a little differently around here.  In 2019, we became a certified B Corp.  That is a business that meets the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance transparency and accountability.  B Corps don’t just care about profit – they care about people and the planet too.  That’s how we’ve always done business – we just wanted to make it official.

Do you dare to dream of a fairer and more beautiful world, obsessed with discovering and owning business action that will make the dream a reality?

Are you a person who likes people, focussing your energy on connecting with customers to create amazing experiences?

Do you believe in the power and joy of collective activism to drive positive change?

If this is you…come and show us how you could contribute to the next step in the evolution of The Body Shop.
