Job Title:  CRM Market Manager - Germany and Austria

We now need an experienced CRM Market Manager to deliver our CRM strategy for our German and Austrian markets. This key role will work with the Head of CRM to devise an overarching strategy that will include segmentation, comms and optimisation and the overall delivery management of the campaign schedule – all designed to achieve our commercial objectives and customer KPIs.

Key Accountabilities

Scoping: The ability to collaborate effectively with others is an essential element for success as you will work with the Insight team and market stakeholders to understand customer needs, preferences and routes in your quest to deliver customer value.

Creation: Your expertise and background in CRM strategy creation including audience build, channel strategy, messaging, campaign timing, promotions and offer strategy and test & learn will be at the forefront of your involvement, so we will be keen to see examples of your work in this area.

Examples of designing a market targeting and segmentation approach that identifies opportunities for targeted campaigns and programmes resulting in the delivery of customer value would definitely feature heavily in your portfolio

Management & Reporting: At the heart of the role is solid experience in campaign management to include communications and data brief writing for agency and management and internal stakeholder approval management.

You will be used to reporting on campaign performance using a variety of tools including Excel and GA and of sharing results with stakeholders.

Strategies and Technologies: Underpinning your CRM experience will be an essential grasp of the main strategies, routes and tools to deliver the very best results. We will be looking for experience in the development of automation strategies, trigger implementation, and segmentation and sampling strategy to deliver innovative personalised multi-channel marketing programmes that build out experiences that delight our customers and increase profitability.

Supporting this activity will be an in-depth knowledge of HTML creation tools such as Taxi, marketing cloud platforms (SAP Marketing Cloud, Salesforce, Adobe etc) as well as an insatiable interest in identifying new approaches and technologies that will give us commercial advantage.

What else do we look for

As well as all of the above we are looking for  

  • Experience of working in a matrix environment where change is common-place - nothing stands still for long at The Body Shop – including our products – so we need agility and quick thinking
  • Ideally previous experience of working for a Beauty brand or Retail organisation – if you have experience of either you will understand why it would be useful. It’s a different world.
  • Bi-lingual English and German to cater for the markets being supported.
  • And of course you will be aligned to our purpose and our whole reason for existing as a business. You will be an ardent proponent of sustainability and will be as diverse in your behaviour and attitude to others as you are in your thinking.
