Your role in a nutshell

To support TBS business strategy, we are embarking on an ambitious and exciting journey to digital transformation journey which will change our IT landscape end-to-end. We are looking for a Digital Architect to work within our Architecture team delivering solutions across eCommerce, digital marketing, in-store technology, CRM, and our Body Shop at Home channel. Working with our Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for shaping digital solutions working with the relevant solutions teams to assure their delivery.  You will help various initiatives, programmes in the customer domain to consistently apply/use the enterprise architecture vision and principles.

This is a critical role for TBS to enable the business to fulfil its ambitious growth plans to help provide a core solutions infrastructure for the next decade.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Produce, evolve and refine highly scalable technical solutions that meet the business requirements
  • Undertake an architecture delivery role on key programmes ensuring design artefacts are delivered to the standards required
  • Engage with the partner architects, TBS technical architects to ensure that the build is aligned to architectural standards
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, and standards
  • Identify and analyse the technology, business drivers and their impact on existing architecture
  • Participate in the relevant architecture forums such as TDA
  • Analyse various design options and submit recommendations to the TDA

 

What we look for

Experience and skills will include:

  • A strong understanding of digital system landscape with experience in one or more of these domains- eCommerce, CRM, in-store technology
  • Experience of involvement in an architecture design governance process
  • Experience of SAP solutions preferably C4 products
    • Significant experience creating solutions through business process re-architecture and/or technology
    • Highly innovative and constantly looking for smarter and innovative improvements
  • Solid large-scale software development and delivery experience preferably in an SAP environment
  • Demonstrable experience of aligning IT projects and strategy with business plans and strategy and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders across business and IT
