Your role

We are looking for an ambitious, driven Content Manager to operate within the Global function of the Digital Marketing Team, assisting the Global SEO Manager. This individual will have in-depth experience of on-page optimisation, content amplification and can utilise data insights to inform the Global content strategy.

Team management experience will be a plus as they will have an SEO Assistant Manager working alongside them. There will also be a requirement to provide training within the team whilst ensuring best practices are maintained and implemented throughout the business.

It would also be beneficial to have worked in a company dynamic consisting of multiple stakeholders to increase growth and meet commercial targets.

More about the role

  • Be a champion for content SEO within the business, delivering training and educational sessions to stakeholders across the business

  • Create content briefs alongside a clear and comprehensive SEO strategy and work with copywriting agencies/brand/legal/translations/localisations to ensure content aligns with TBS requirements

  • Ensure best practice SEO is communicated and implemented throughout the business

  • Present future facing and innovative content strategies with first to market opportunities and potential new areas of growth

  • Own and coordinate localised content scope of work with SEO agency and be the main point of contact throughout the business

  • Devise content production schedules to ensure a consistent stream of content is published in line with Google's algorithm across all markets 

  • Own all content amplification strategies across a variety of content types across the website and other content platforms (e.g., YouTube)

  • Use a variety of 3rd party SEO tools to assess and monitor SEO performance

  • Generate business cases to quantify the impact of the content strategy, outlining value and incremental growth

  • Report to Global SEO Manager ensuring all strategic content deliverables are implemented

  • Identify and map keyword opportunities for acquisition through regular keyword research and data analysis by market and develop content briefs where there are opportunities to increase rankings, domain authority through editorial coverage for health and beauty related searches.

  • Analyse search trends and peaks in search interest to inform the content creation strategy across the business.

What we look for

  • Experience of working in a scaled, omnichannel environment. An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to develop strong relationships, across multiple different geographical markets. Experience of working in a matrix organisation is essential.
  • A team leader who is also prepared to roll up their sleeves and be hands on in the delivery of the strategy. A highly motivated self-starter with a growth mindset who has the determination to make a positive difference to the company.
  • A confident communicator and presenter who can build relationships with ease.
  • A subject matter expert with experience of working on global search programmes either with an in-house or agency team
  • Data driven and numerate. Outstanding analytical skills with strong experience of interpreting commercial results and drawing conclusions.  Experience of using analytics packages such as Google Analytics to investigate and interpret channel performance. Further experience of using customer data and insight to develop campaigns.
  • A good understanding of other performance marketing channels; in particular in paid search e.g. Affiliates, Paid Social, Display, CRM, and also Ecommerce best practice and optimisation techniques.
  • Disciplined and organised yet flexible in style. Experience of being proactive and responsive to changing trading patterns. Able to support the execution of regular short-term promotional tactics. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
