Natura &Co is a global beauty group currently consisting of four companies Natura, Aesop, Avon and The Body Shop. The group currently operates in over 100 countries with approx.  40,000 direct employees.  


The Global Legal M&A Director will be placed with in a small team of individuals, who will focus on ‘Natura &Co’ with the aim to help support and ensure cross-collaboration across the current four companies but to also drive group priorities but ensuring these can be balanced with company goals. 

Position Purpose

Reporting to the group’s Chief Legal Officer, this position is chiefly responsible for providing legal support on key M&A projects and transactions, as well for managing securities and capital market matters.

Main Responsibilities: 
-    Assist the global groups and the business units on M&A projects, which may include complex cross-border transactions, formation of JVs, new acquisitions or divestitures, complex market entries, global and regional strategic partnership and alliances with key distributors and suppliers. 
-    Active participation in the negotiations and management of the due diligence and drafting processes
-    Regular legal support to group’s Venture Capital Fund 
-    Management of global procurement related contracts
-    Help structure and execute group’s capital strategy
-    Support on securities and capital market related legal activities in close partnership with Investor Relations, Finance and other areas

This Legal Director will lead a group of in-house corporate and transaction lawyers based out of London and Sao Paulo. 

Education & Experience

Accredited lawyer with strong academic background
•    Minimum 10-year experience in law firm or as in-house counsel 
•    Successful track record with complex cross-border transactions and corporate restructuring
•    Solid capital market experience
•    Strong leadership skills 
•    Position is based in London, with frequent international travel
