Your role in a nutshell

 

There is an exciting new opportunity to join the Supplier Relationship Management function within The Body Shop, at a time when we are on a huge IT transformation journey.
The Technology Supplier Analyst is responsible for supporting the Supplier Relationship Management function, enabling the team to drive forward initiatives, and ensuring satisfactory performance and value for money is obtained from suppliers.   
Working with our Technology Supplier managers, supporting the Supplier Management governance process rollout and ongoing coordination with key strategic suppliers and the management of the supplier list across the IT Department.
Support the SRM function to ensure we can meet our key outcomes: contract management, spend management, demand planning, understanding our stakeholder landscape, and supporting ongoing communications and engagement directly with our suppliers through supplier events. 
 

More about the role

 

•    Support the Technology Supplier Managers in operating the SM processes
•    Develop and maintain an understanding of cost drivers, costs, and trends within the context of the contract 
•    Produce analysis of supplier performance against expected costs & contract obligations
•    Creation of governance reporting to support the SM process
•    Ensure supplier contracts/SOWs are logged and tracked in the correct systems
•    Responsible for the creation and management of a contract renewal schedule to support timely activity
•    Responsible for the creation and management of a payments schedule to support timely activity
•    Co-ordinating supplier events, working with our Technology Supplier Managers

•    IT Finance & Strategy

•    Reports to the Technology Supplier Manager
 

What we look for

 

•    Proactive, positive, and organised with a keen and inquisitive mind
•    A good level of competency with using Excel
•    Ability to work under own initiative and able to seek advice and support when required. 
•    Comfortable making recommendations based on incomplete data and information in the absence of clear frameworks and guidance to operate from.
•    Experience of working within an Information Technology environment in a similar role
•    An understanding of contracts and the contract lifecycle.
Useful but not essential
•    Some experience in financial reporting and/or experience of working with finance within an IT environment
•    Knowledge of the contract lifecycle and some exposure to contracts in one or more IT categories, including hardware, software, service, and communications – NTH
•    IT Supplier Management experience and /or qualification
