Our e-commerce business has experienced phenomenal growth over the last year and the future looks set to deliver more of the same across the globe. This means we need experts in all our regions to develop, deploy and optimise our paid search strategy including a specialism in France, Benelux and Netherlands.

 

Reporting into the PPC Manager (EMEA) this key role will be tasked with delivering e-commerce revenues in France, Benelux and Netherlands as well as heavily influencing retail revenues across the regions.

 

As an experienced Paid Search specialist, you’ll be familiar with (and highly competent in) all the main activities that drive incremental revenue, profit and ROI from global paid search programmes, including in the following key areas:

Revenue Growth: Your expertise in developing AND executing strategies that deliver high value traffic and footfall will drive revenue and manage the investment in conversion and efficiency. You’ll be motivated by the numbers and the results.

 

Technical capability: Accountability for optimising search activities in relevant search engines will keep your skills keen and honed, and your support for the team will include bid management technology algorithms, definition and deployment of test campaigns, expansion and testing of keyword coverage through to ad copy creative and landing page testing and more…

 

Partnerships: You’ll work closely with search engines and 3rd party partners to test new paid search opportunities and optimisation techniques – keeping your knowledge up to date and relevant.

 

The ability to build effective working relationships internally extends beyond partners and your team to include other Body Shop internal functions such as Insight & Strategy, the Digital Hub and other key stakeholders – so communication and presentation skills will need to be strong.

 

Reporting: All the great progress and results needs to be shared internally – so you will be responsible for feeding your function’s performance data into trading meetings, market level deep dives and into P&L reviews.

 

Leadership: We seek individuals who can outperform and extend beyond their remit, and you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to be the very best they can be and to encourage them to be ambitious and eager to grow. It takes a special skill to spot and realise potential.

 

Vision: This role is not about standing still, it’s about driving forwards and making great strides of incremental progress. You’ll work closely with Search Marketing and Digital Marketing leadership to highlight key opportunities (and risks) and will share future plans with Commercial Teams globally. You’ll look at (and input into) ways to implement channel synergies and part of a wider marketing mix. And be prepared to seek out new thinking and strategies from forums, conferences and in dialogue with your peers across other markets. The role drives change and improvement continuously.
