More about the role

Main roles and responsibilities will include:

•             Responsible for ensuring accurate Store P&L reporting, and analysing the store estate, providing commentary on changing store performance, and working with markets, to provide insights to the Global Real Estate Director, Finance teams and Executive Leadership Team

•             Responsible for the maintaining of Finance Retail Indicator rules, e.g. Definitions of Like for Like, New Stores, Refits, store types.

•             Provide the Finance oversight to the retail estate business cases. Maintain by store a database for all company stores of investment decisions

•             Provide to markets the guidelines on store performance expectations at the start of the budget and longer term planning processes

•             Responsible for creating a standardised report and method of store performance pre and post investment (Openings, refits, refurbs). Provide post investment reviews of decisions to feedback to the Store Footprint team

Your role in a nutshell

We are recruiting for a Property Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will produce timely and accurate company store profitability reporting, deliver analysis of the store footprint and drive decision making on store openings, relocations, lease renewals, closures and refit investments.

What we look for

Having a love for problem solving, you will have sound experience of analysing and reporting data, excellent Excel skills as well as the ability to work to tight financial deadlines. Working knowledge of SAP and/or HANA is desirable as is previous Forecast/Trend analysis experience. Those that have a desire to study towards an ACCA/CIMA of particular interest.
