Role Scope and Accountabilities

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager  for our The Body Shop at Home Brand (London/Remote based), the key accountabilities for this role are to:

  • Support the UK Sales Organization for sales support, recruiting, local meetings, field analysis and KPI reporting
  • Assist in the coordination of field meetings, support programs and communication with the field leader teams.
  • Support with tracking KPI performance of sales field leaders
  • Contribute to TBSAH strategic planning, goal setting and sales attainment.
  • Ensuring the Head of Global Sales, Senior Sales Manager and Sales team are up to date on reporting, KPI performance, field meetings and actuals to targets
  • Support with global sales reporting and KPI management
  • Act as key liaison on International Sponsoring issues and queries for top sales leadership in the UK

Key Job Accountabilities:

Field:
•    Accountable for supporting the Sales team to achieve required level of sales, activity and growth within their teams.
•    Work regularly with the sales team and assigned field leaders to optimise their business through effective coaching, development and planning meetings.
•    Supports in the development of corporate messages to the field teams and manage the feedback including to ensure the brand message and image is maintained to company standards.
•    Accountable for sales content management on the company Facebook Inspirations page including posting, approval of posts and administering permissions
•    Use the analytical data provided by the support office to develop field opportunities.
•    Support the Sales to deliver Regional Meetings
•    Assigned to support high potential future leaders on the journey to Regional Leadership


Training:
•    Deliver base sales training to the Area Management team on the career plan, compensation system and basic business tools with approved training of the Global Training Team
•    Support the development of sales field training modules with Global Training team – identifying training needs, and supporting the development of training modules as approved centrally
•    Support as required at company trainings / events.

General:
•    Work with the support office team to ensure that field communications are delivered effectively.
•    Support at company events and other corporate events as necessary ensuring the content meets the business needs.
•    Attend business meetings at Watersmead /London and other locations as required.
•    Attend planning meetings and integrate sales promotions and event planning effectively to ensure implementation success in TBSAH
•    Regularly lease with the Head of Global Sales and Senior Sales Manager to update on the Leaders / RMs business plans, progress on sales and recruitment, team motivation/activities, and any issues.
•    Support with Social Media messaging / lives and digital communication
•    Key liaison with the Customer Service Team to support RM Escalations

Other
•    To perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
•    Responsible for maintaining the ethical standards of The Body Shop including minimising the environmental, health and safety risks in the workplace and responsible for reporting potential risks, real accidents and near misses to relevant managers.
•    Champions, supports and participates in The Body Shop campaigns and The Purpose.
•    Flexible working approach – home-based with regular travel.

What we look for

•    Robust people management in complex structures that can demonstrate ability to adapt style and communicate at all levels.
•    Proven track record within a sales, training or business development role.
•    Confident presenter to large groups and at all levels in the business.
•    Competent user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Desirable to have worked in the beauty industry but not essential.
•    Desirable to have worked in the Direct Selling Industry but not essential.
