We are seeking an experienced Buyer to work out of our London Bridge offices (hybrid working role) to Lead Marketing Services Category for three organizations: The Body Shop, Avon and Natura&co brands.

  • To create and implement Strategic Sourcing plan with Marketing Board members;
  • To lead the Mkt technology transformation, bringing modern solutions and change the way the business works; Creating with Marketing board members the financial business case and lead the implementation.
  • To deliver efficiencies, synergies and cost savings for all Brands.
  • To develop the category strategy based on Strategic Sourcing methodology for Marketing Services categories, considering detailed spend analysis, internal client’s needs, market analysis and disruptive innovations.
  • To identify and leverage best practices across the Companies and Markets and share with peers in the global sourcing team.
  • Manage the relationship between The Body Shop, Natura&co and Avon with Key Suppliers in the cluster, including managing contracts, capacity management, supplier performance and ethical framework for supplier management.

More about the role

Responsible for negotiating the budget from the global marketing team, leading and implementing projects for 5 categories (Public Relationship; Promotions; TBSAT; Photography and Print), including:

Create Category strategy based on Strategic Sourcing framework; Lead pitches with all brands, challenging stakeholders briefing, challenge supplier proposal and deliverables

Seniors Internal client’s management (VP’s and Directors);

  • Supplier Market Mapping and Review;
  • Spend Analysis;
  • Cost Negotiations;
  • Supplier Market Mapping and Review;
  • Project identification, management and Deployment with Stakeholders.
  • Deliver Cost Savings, Innovation and Efficiency in operations:
  • Develop and Agree on yearly savings Budget with Region Management
  • Opportunities for consolidation across to global programs both across TBS/ Avon and Natura & Co brands
  • Regular reporting on performance.
  • Manage spend, ensuring all procurement and ethical protocols are documented and followed with TBS and Natura & Co internal control requirements.
  • Supplier Management & Development – to include:
  • Supplier Reviews and Supplier Scorecard for designated suppliers.
  • New Vendor approval process.
  • Supplier Dashboard development by Region/ Category.
  • Supplier Selection and New Vendor Approval Process.
  • Responsible for deploying best practices

What we look for

Extensive experience in Sourcing and Marketing services category – Category Management – Strategy Sourcing Methodology

Experience in creating financial Business Case; project implementation with change management strategy;

  • Experience in Supplier Management and Innovative business solutions desirable.
  • Budgetary development, control and reporting.
  • Supplier performance evaluation and supplier selection.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include
  • Strong cultural awareness with the ability to develop and maintain strong effective relationships
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Experience of dealing with Senior Level Management
  • Demonstrably high level of personal integrity and performance ethic.



A minimum of a 2.1 degree in a relevant discipline.

CIPS membership desirable

Languages relevant to the Natura&co (Portuguese, Spanish) - desirable
