Your role in a nutshell

We are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager for a 12-month FTC (maternity cover) This is a hybrid working role out of our London Bridge offices with complete flexibility on working from home and/or the office. 

The role is to lead all commercial planning and analysis for the UK & ROI Retail Store channel, whilst ensuring a robust and accurate set of financial statements for this channel. This role is responsible for identifying trends, risks and opportunities alongside providing commercial insight to key stakeholders. Leading a team of four, this role will also have a key focus on driving team development and growth whilst managing the day to day operational outputs.  This is a high-profile role that acts as a trusted advisor to the Finance Director and Managing Director, whilst business partnering the Retail and Property Directors.

More about the role

  • Establish Retail KPI’S to create Retail Sales forecasting, targets and reporting.
  • Deliver store productivity improvement by leading payroll planning, approvals and reporting.
  • Partnering with the Retail & Property Directors in the development and execution of TBS strategic plan to deliver EBIT growth for stores.  
  • Provide key financial insights to build the future roadmap for the store estate, considering closures, openings and re-location opportunities.
  • Lead the business case approval process for CAPEX investment and store decisions.
  • Champion an improvement in key controls to manage property accounting.
  • Leading & development of best in class finance team.
  • Put the spotlight on Risk & Opportunity measurement.
  • Ensure processes adhere to SOX compliance

What we look for

  • Ability to lead and develop a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Business partnering skills to support the agreed strategy, influence decision making, drive agenda points and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong MS Excel skills – the ability to manage, manipulate and understand large amounts of data in a concise manner alongside strong financial modelling skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage efficient processes and internal controls.
  • Ability to accurately apply accounting knowledge and judgement.
  • Financial planning and analysis.  
  • Application of accounting standards including IFRS.
  • Internal controls / processes.
  • SAP.
  • Fully qualified: ACCA / CIMA.
