Your role in a nutshell

To be responsible for the progression of Greenhouse pack design into print-ready artwork, in line with Brand briefs & taking into account the Technical and Legal requirements across all markets. Being proactive in overcoming all challenges and obstacles working with the Technical Print Team and External Artwork Agency to provide these within CPA deadlines and in line with budget.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Accountable at a category level to ensure pack design from Greenhouse is achievable for our third-party print suppliers.  Making technical proposals to the design to improve, make more industrially efficient or cost-effective, whilst managing the initial stakeholder's expectations.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with both External Artwork Agencies, with regular performance meetings against KPI’s.
  • Work closely with the wider Brand guidelines are adhered to ensuring creative strategies are accurately translated into finished pack artwork.
  • Attend cross-functional team meetings providing updates, solutions, and feedback on the pack artwork.
  • Providing technical documentation to External Artwork Agency.
  • Manage updates of product information and data for various markets that The Body Shop operates in.
  • Communicate to Technical Print Team and Product Development Managers to provide progress updates of all pack artwork, highlighting risks & mitigating actions where appropriate
  • Liaise with the Technical Print team to ensure any complex projects are managed appropriately.
  • Ownership of low complexity projects ensuring all key data is in place.  
  • Ensure systems and processes are effective and up-to-date, recommending, and contributing to improvements where appropriate.
  • Brief and manage any copy approval amendments as needed.
  • Maintain workflow trackers to show the progress of the artwork.
  • Liaise with Brand D & E to ensure all elements of the design brief are completed.
  • Maintain costs on a monthly basis for External agency & understand cost implications for updated briefs.
What we look for


  • Excellent working knowledge of artwork, repro and print processes
  • A strong understanding of typography, space, and layout
  • In-depth understanding of different print techniques, i.e. flexo, litho, digital
  • Highly proficient in Adobe CC and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects ensuring work is completed within time.
  • Ensure artwork is achievable within print production constraints
  • Good attention to detail
