Your role in a nutshell

The Ecommerce Merchandising & Operations Specialist will be highly analytical and possess the curiosity to understand and delve into  onsite customer behavior metrics. Along with the Merch/Ops Manager, they will assist in the delivery of best in class experiences and will support the ongoing optimisation of their market and achievement of conversion targets. They will also be responsible for the localisation and maintenance of online content pages for the US and Canada

More about the role

  • Work with Merchandising Specialist to identify top performing products that can be featured on content pages
  • Create,localize and optimize editorial landing pages as well as customer led content pages
  • Setup and maintenance of all evergreen site content including FAQs 
  • Conducting daily site checks, ensuring online content is accurate and aligns with website flip kit
  • Assist the Merch/Ops Manager with content related optimisations – maintenance of landing pages, regime buying, perfect partners etc.
  • Respond to Care Centre queries related to product and site issues
  • Brief SEO agencies on upcoming content in order to drive Organic Search results
  • Attend cross channel team meetings on a weekly/monthly basis in order to ensure cohesive alignment of content across all business touchpoints (stores, wholesale, online)
  • On a weekly and ongoing basis, the Ecommerce Merch/Ops Specialistwill:
    • Support Conversion Managers and Merchandising & Operations Managers with zoning/setup required for analytics of initiatives
    • Fuel the Conversion Manager with tangible data driven insights into conversion performance and KPI’s to support identification of opportunities and risks - including but not limited to micro-conversion analysis, stepped conversion analysis and the product classification system
    • Support with the setup of UX testing to support the CXO workstream
    • Support with setup, monitoring and reporting of personalisation experiences

What we look for

  • Experience working in a scaled, omnichannel environment.
  • Experience operating in an entrepreneurial organisation, with the ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships at all levels across all disciplines. Experience working in a matrix organisation is essential.
  • Numerate and data driven with clear experience developing testing and frameworks to improve the conversion rate and commercial performance. Experience  using technology to support the development of this.
  • Significant experience  deploying personalisation strategies. Outstanding analytical skills with strong experience of interpreting test results and drawing conclusions.
  • Disciplined and organised yet flexible in style. Experience  being proactive and responsive to changing trading patterns. Able to balance long term objectives with the execution of regular short-term promotional tactics
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using analytics tools preferable
  • French language skills an asset
