Your role in a nutshell

We are recruiting for a Global Social Media Strategist to join The Body Shop at Home team at a time of exciting digital transformation. You will be responsible for designing The Body Shop social selling strategy and guidelines, helping our consultants succeed at acquiring and retaining customers. You will be an innovation champion with an infallible can-do attitude and natural networking skills. Being the first to know about new social media and influencer marketing products, you will support our consultants to leverage innovation to drive customer acquisition. 

More about the role

Main responsibilities include:  

  • Design, test and report back on effectiveness of best in class social selling guidelines that tap into social media best practice and trends.  

  • Build suite of tools and tactics for leaders to target customer acquisition through their feeds and build customer acquisition strategies within their sales force. 

  • Develop yearly / quarterly / monthly outreach plan proposals to support leaders and their teams. 

  • Work in collaboration with the sales, training and recognition team to develop an effective train the trainer approach to bring best practice learnings across the globe/across leader groups 

  • Define a recognition mechanism process to reward ‘best in class’ social media behaviours 

  • Collaborate closely w/compliance teams to support best practice social media, rules, policies and guidelines that support organic/compliant social communication 

  • Work with head of social selling to develop effective reporting and measurement based on OKRs. 

  • Produce weekly / monthly and quarterly reports to track progress and reassess strategy and tactics.  

  • Establish great working relations with platform reps at major social media platforms to participate to beta tests and seize innovation opportunities. 

What we look for

  1. Hands-on experience with data driven influencer marketing / development of personal branding strategies. 

  1. Social listening pro with hands-on experience extrapolating data and insights from native and third-party social tools to inform strategy and tactics.  

  1. Proven track record of driving implementation of social media innovation within current role. 

  1. Strong hands-on reporting and analytics capabilities utilising native and third-party social media tools to measure impact. 

  1. Creative problem solving.  

  1. Strong communicator with experience managing large groups of stakeholders.  

  1. Understanding of social selling a strong plus.
