Per compliance for NYC, the compensation range for this position is Minimum $88,000 to Maximum $125,000 annually.

Your role in a nutshell

Providing support to our Joyful Collective while executing Brand strategies to achieve results. The People Partner will ensure retail employees are inducted within brand values, have on-going development plans & career advancement; establish & maintain effective working relationships with managers & employees in an environment that fosters communication & co-operation, while promoting fostering a culture that is productive, open, empowering, safe & equitable & coach others to behave & make decisions and ensuring Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging initiatives are upheld. 

More about the role

  • Contribute to the development of performance and talent management strategy to achieve the business goals through objectives.
  • Drive continuous performance improvement by partnering with managers through performance management coaching.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees through an environment that fosters communication and co-operation.
  • Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions.
  • Responsible for compliance in HR (policies and practices).
  • Partnering with Total Rewards team to manage year end salary review process, manage monthly performance bonus payout and Open Enrollment for all employees.
  • Supports employee engagement efforts and enables employee feedback through a variety of sources, including employee surveys, focus groups, and employee meetings.
  • Maintains awareness of retail trends, competitive knowledge and shifts strategies accordingly
  • Ensuring Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives are being upheld at the retail store level
  • Participate in various health and safety activities, including the S.H.E. Committee, to ensure a high awareness of employee safety is maintained

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of Human Resource Management experience, Retail environment preferred
  • Project Management Experience, a plus
  • Knowledge of Provincial/Federal/State Laws and regulations (Canada and US)
  • Sound Commercial Retail Knowledge (multi-site, multi-state Environment preferred)
  • Coaching & Training Experience
  • 50% Travel required
