Your role in a nutshell

This role requires you to manage the sales forecast process and analyze sales forecast to report trends, insights, risks, and anomalies. You will also work closely with market commercial and supply chain teams to drive forecast accuracy improvements. To excel in this role, you have strong analytical skills, a demonstrable ability to manage large data sets, carry out data modeling, and comfortable presenting using PowerPoint.

More about the role

Deliver the forecasting process by liaising with commercial teams, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sources

Maintain product assortment (life cycle status: Core, New Product, Phase in Phase out, Discontinued and Seasonal)

Ensure that the business objectives and key timings for forecasts are met

Provide accurate and timely reporting, highlighting risks and opportunities

Provide analysis and feedback on sales forecast related KPIs

To participate in signing off of forecast versus sales trends within the S&OP platform

Develop and upgrade modeling techniques to improve forecasting reports.

Design, Govern and Standardise forecasting tool and processes with Internal teams.

Develop existing systems/processes and ensure the best use of their capabilities

Ensure end to end business communications in place to maximize the visibility of forecast changes and impact on wider business (in partnership with ISC)

Experience:  

  • Strong analytical skills required as the role is very numerical
  • Demonstrable ability to handle large data sets and carry out data modeling
  • Ability to challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven team player, supporting and assisting various departments
  • Demonstrable ability to confidently present using PowerPoint

Qualifications:

  • Degree
  • Advanced level in Excel
  • Ideally experienced or knowledgeable with forecasting and analytical processes and tools or software including Excel and SAP
