Your role in a nutshell

Based in our Toronto office, you’ll study & establish all processes within the Supply Chain team, identify gaps & work across departments to execute proper fix with-in system. 

You’ll be responsible for building & implementing the Supply Chain Channel strategy aligned with Sales, Commercial & Marketing teams expectations & growth aspirations within The Body Shop.

You’ll be a role model/mentor to ensure consistent delivery of high class customer service across the teams driving results for all channels through delivering product to support event plans and achieve sales budgets. You’ll support activities for the demand planner & retail analyst & will provide cover for both roles as necessary.

You’ll support the Supply Chain team to deliver on long term purchase plans, driving agility in the supply chain & will be responsible for reporting KPI’s covering fulfilment of these purchase plans.

More about the role

  • Manage Wholesale team Demand Planner,Wholesale Analyst & Data Analyst to identify/implement forward thinking strategies& maintain top level service
  • Manage systematic integrity for Wholesale Demand Planning & Retail Analyst  
  • Implement action plans to support Demand Planning & Analyst teams with inventory data to maximize KPI requirement for accuracy & fill rates 
  • Drive collaboration across commercial, brand, operations & finance to ensure total demand plan meets business objectives on inventory, service & cost 
  • Lead, develop & report on KPIs for demand planning
  • Lead NPD sell in process, including NPD launches, comparative product forecasting etc.
  • Manage inventory overview to identify excess &obselescens; Challenge market volume trends
  • Inbound tracking to ensure proper weeks of coverage for channels
  • Drive core baseline forecast accuracy improvements
  • Present local S&OP process for channels, highlight & drive improvement 
  • Monitor Demand & Retail analysis,ensure channel needs are met to maximize sales
  • Manage KPI reporting proactively highlighting issues & working with channels, ensure budget alignment is achieved
  • Provide insight & analysis to key stakeholders by monitoring & identifying trends & risks

What we look for

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in leading a team within a global setting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience delivering consistent Supply Chain/ Merchandising/Customer Care in a omni-channel environment
  • Experience influencing cross functionally at a management level
  • Fluent in demand planning & retail analyst functions for back up/support as needed
  • Demonstrate knowledge & understanding of omni-channel supply chain with experience in detailed product planning & order fulfilment
  • Proven track record of improving supply chain operational processes
  • Supplier/Franchise/Wholesale experience
  • Demonstrates Entrepreneurship 
  • Innovates, seeks to improve & refine processes, fosters a climate of mutual trust that empowers people to bring daring proposals
