Your role in a nutshell

To oversee the day to day activities of the Supply Chain function, ensuring consistency of process, service and reporting. Ensuring best practice is shared, and that supply chain planners are supported and developed to fulfil their potential and able to actively contribute to the delivery of team KPI’s, targets and budgets.

To manage the fulfilment of the Zone demand plan for specific Canada & USA Zone based on agreed S&OP sales forecast, ensuring stock availability for Canada/USA are on time to support sales plans including Events and NPD launches.  Run systematic replenishment requirements in line with budgets and sales forecasts and deliver high class customer service results for Canada’s business plan in order to achieve retail sales targets.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Accountable for Canada retail Supply, maintain standard on shelf availability
  • Strong communication within Supply Chain team, as well as cross departments to ensure understanding of stock availability, limitations, risks.
  • To develop, mentor and support the supply planning function, conducting regular 1 to 1 meetings, and undertaking mid-year and end of year reviews, with US retail, and E-com/TBSAH planners
  • Responsible for stock holding and inventory flows to budget in assigned stock pools, managing the movement of product from Regional DC to stores to achieve excellent & on time product delivery availability in stores, E-com, & TBSAH
  • Oversee the store replenishment process maintaining stock in stores and E-com DC to pre-agreed levels.
  • Commercially control spend within your specific remit, working creatively and in a SMART way to reduce both overall costs whilst increasing efficiency
  • In conjunction with the commercial teams manage inventory in line with an agreed plan for NPD, Discontinuation & Event Plans (including pipe fill) and propose action plans to maintain budget for slow moving/obsolete & aged inventory
  • Liaise with the Data Analyst Manager on availability and product flow & manage constraints in supply locally
  • Able to partner with other departments e.g. eCommerce to ensure inventory supply & demand needs are achieved for all customers especially during high profile on-line events
  • In alignment with the commercial/finance teams in market, drive a robust S&OP process
  • Understand the current stock position to understand the impact on service levels and the requirement to correct any shortfalls based on latest forecast.
  • Develop and delivering Market and Zone strategy
  • Mentor Team to build new KPI and process gap opportunities and optimize
