Your role in a nutshell

As the Retail Operations Coordinator you will streamline and execute operational activities to allow the teams to unleash the incredible potential of our people to create outstanding and purposeful business performance. 

More about the role

  • You will work with the Head of Retail to determine store communication needs and execute these to drive Market performance

  • Undertake targeted communication as required to support performance in leading markets as required by the Head of Retail

  • Create and update communications tools to Market team on trading performance

  • Coordinate with Head of Retail to understand KPI measures and levers that should be communicated to stores to influence trading. Collate KPI information

  • Manage the use of and administrate the Village & Retail Park; continuously improving this vehicle for stores

  • Be the point of contact for the field teams, assess and co-ordinate profit protection and SHE reporting ensuring the DSM receive exceptions requiring action

  • Work closely with the Market Retail Operations team and Market Finance department to provide stores with regular trading updates; promote the use of the store dashboard where relevant (especially for profit protection)

  • Responsible for coordinating and communicating information regarding stock, in conjunction with supply chain

  • Work with Brand team and Event Planning to ensure that stores have the necessary information and tools to ensure maximise performance of events

  • Responsible for gathering all feedback from stores and sharing with relevant market teams to inform, improve execution and share best practice

  • Ensure that all materials sent to stores by other teams (e.g. Event Planning & Execution) are fit for purpose

  • Support the Retail Field Team in any task they need – be the Retail Back Office – creating tools for stores and DSM

  • To be the key contact regarding logistics linked to the TBS Supply Chain, local carrier & stores

  • Schedule local amendments : refits/new openings/delivery transfers for closure

  • Manage and monitor store procedures and tools and the roll our of new store procedures and tools

  • Follow up on maintenance for stores (PO and Budget)

What we look for

  • Excellent understanding of retail process, systems and tools with proven experience in improving them 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience managing a retail store preferred, but not required 

  • Ability to realise attention to detail whilst maintaining the bigger picture 

  • Ability to work independently at a distance while being a strong team player 

  • Evidence of exhibiting excellent influencing & collaboration skills 

  • Understanding of working with different cultures and cross departments 

  • Self-driven, taking a personal responsibility to find answers and solutions, align activities and gain commitment, holding people accountable for delivery  

  • Ability to build and leverage strong connections and support across the business  

  • Proven track record in planning and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise  

  • Collaborates across functions making sure the customer is always at the centre of what we do
