Your role

Take a lead role in the development of core system functionality across our digital product(s).  To be the specialist and global super user for the products taking ownership and management of system specific roadmaps for all markets and new market roll out plans.

 As part of a project team, s/he owns the delivery of high quality, customer-led digital product, ensuring focus on the items that will deliver the most significant business value.

The role is responsible for building the right product for the business and working closely with the extended product team to interpret and ensure alignment with strategy, roadmap and business goals

 This will require the PO to work closely with a variety of stakeholders to deliver a variety of system projects across multiple workstreams.

  • Responsible for launching new digital products and enhance existing ones and ensuring business readiness.

  • Responsible for the on-time, on-budget and on-strategy delivery of our products and projects through careful prioritisation and review

  • Engagement with business stakeholders to cover the strategic aspects of product development, including product vision definition, roadmap creation and business case creation, keeping product return on investment (ROI) and business value delivery as the core focus

  • To work collaboratively with the wider systems management team and businesss development team to ensure the roadmap is fully aligned to business direction, strategic goals and requirements

  • Deliver against and support the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product(s).

  • Be a focal point of contact for the business for the defined product/portfolio of products.

  • Manage product user journey design, ensuring a high quality customer experience.

What we look for

  • Extensive experience in ‘Product Management’ or as ‘Product Owner’.

  • Proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership of digital products and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

  • Hands on experience with agile methodologies.

  • Solid experience in working as a business analyst and product owner with varied project delivery across eCommerce and CRM/loyalty. Retail store project delivery desirable.

  • Experience in A/B testing and data analytics to inform product roadmap.

  • Strong retail/consumer facing experience.

  • Solid technology understanding; ability to communicate effectively with the delivery team and communicate clearly back to business stakeholders.

  • Experience with working in a matrix or complex global environment.

  • Strong familiarity of emerging technologies, capabilities, and solutions.

  • SAP Marketing Cloud / Customer Cloud experience desirable

  • Agile development experience

  • Able to deliver software development/integration projects that cover front-end, backend, online and offline

  • Able to own roadmap and help to shape this by working closely with various stakeholders to integrate with business strategy

  • Experience with change management and working in a matrix or complex global environment
