Your role in a nutshell

The successful candidate will have the ability to lead and drive on-going improvements in quality performance of The Body Shop Subcontractors, with the objective of consistently delivering products that conform to the required safety and legal standards, product specifications, product definition and Brand expectations – all this through analysing Quality data, defining action plans, supporting implementation and analysing the results. You will support new product developments (NPD) & transferred Product first Productions, by providing support both to The Body Shop Product Development teams and Subcontractors. You will have the ability to utilise robust, clear and structured problem-solving methodologies for Quality investigations.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Provide Quality support for product transfers
  • Carrying out product quality investigations and drive corrective actions (New & Transferred Products)
  • Applying Quality tools to solve problems and improve products and processes
  • Contributing to the QA supplier status & improvement programme
  • Supporting the QA manager in the completion of the supplier audit programme
  • Carrying out subcontractor on-boarding
  • Collaboratively engage and support strategic quality projects

What we look for

  • Production and Quality experience within the Cosmetics and/or similar industry
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
  • Knowledge of problem solving tools and investigative process
  • Auditing experience desirable
  • People engagement and communication skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Great communication skills and cultural awareness
  • Good understanding of the cosmetics industry
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Techniques
  • Analytical Skills

 

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level (preferably engineering, lean, production or similar) OR

Equivalent level of relevant experience
