Your role in a nutshell

This is a 12 month FTC for a Senior IT Project Manager. You will lead workstreams in major programmes, along with the management of medium to Large projects in The Body Shop's IT Portfolio. You will have full responsibility for delivering against tasks and scope, and in determining risks and issue as determined by the Programmes/Projects.

  • Take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful delivery of IT Programme workstreams and projects
  • Manage expectations of all project stakeholders involved in the workstreams and communication plans
  • Manage project delivery teams, facilitating effective working relations and monitoring progress to agreed quality measures
  • Select methods and tools, using iterative techniques where appropriate, ensuring that effective project control, change control, risk management and testing
  • Adhere to PMO Governance and Project Controls in the IT Portfolio 
  • Source and collect contract performance data and monitors performance against KPIs, taking appropriate steps to address non-compliance
  • Monitor progress against business objectives specified in the business case
  • Identify where change is required, and plans for variations in consultation with stakeholders, ensuring that change management protocols are implemented
  • Manage and take full responsibility of the budget on projects 

What we look for

  • Experienced project leadership capabilities that drives team engagement and produces high quality development deliverables
  • Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organisation
  • Retail experience preferred - Online / Apps / Stores / Multi-level marketing
  • Digital experience - Home selling business / eCommerce / CRM / POS / SAP   
  • Management of suppliers to deliver agreed work, contracts and SOW's 
  • Understanding of database analysis and migration between platforms  
  • A broad range of technical skills and a solid understanding of current technology
  • Delivery of IT Projects in line with agreed roadmap and target architecture to scope, quality, on time and to budget 
  • Adhering to the established Project management Toolkit/Methodology for Reporting, Planning, Risk and Issue Management, Budgeting and Governance 
  • Management of Internal and External and Stakeholders, and ensuring communication is clear for the duration of the project
