Job Title: Infrastructure Programme Manager

Your role in a nutshell
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Programme Manager ideally from a retail background (hybrid working) based out of our Global HQ in London Bridge. You will deliver large, technically complex programmes of work from initiation, definition and implementation. You will manage and engage Project Managers to delivering projects with strong alignment to business stakeholders/sponsors. You will have financial responsibility managing and controlling project costs/budgets.
The successful candidate will also coach and mentor other Project Managers to develop in their role and contribute to the development and improvement of project management tools, techniques and methodologies. You will demonstrate excellent technical knowledge in the Infrastructure space, understand complex technical landscapes on a global scale to enable you to identify key dependencies and risks as early as possible.

- Leads the definition, implementation and review of the designated programme and sets the stratergy.
- Plans, directs and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement complex programmes.
- Uses KPIs to monitor and challenge performance
- Oversees and measures the fulfilment of contractual obligations.
- Develops and implements stakeholder engagement strategies
- Manages risk and identifies where changes are required.
- Owns the successful delivery of complex projects within designated portfolio.
- Accountable for resources, revenue and capital costs against the budget for projects within the designated portfolio with tight control on capital and operational spend.
- Drives effective governance arrangements supported by effective reporting.
- Champions continuous improvement programmes.
What we look for
- Proven portfolio, programme and project management ability with a track record of successful delivery of complex integrated IT Infrastructure projects with deep Infrastructure knowledge.
- Demonstrated influence and credibility with Senior IT and Business management
- Self-motivated and process driven, with experience of working in a high-pressured environment, working to deadlines and using own initiative.
- Strong planning, communication (English) and presentation skills.
- Extensive Infrastructure programme management experience, ideally in retail sector
- Demonstrable experience in management in delivery of parallel programmes of work
- Experience of delivery in multi-vendor environment and senior stakeholder management
- Experience of retail (preferred)
- Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent, Bachelor's degree / MBA (preferred)
