Job Title: Retail Finance Analyst, UK Market

Your role in a nutshell
This is a permanent role, based out of our London Bridge office where we work on a hybrid basis.
This role is key in commercial planning and analysis for the UK & ROI store estate, whilst ensuring a robust and accurate set of accounts for designated costs. This role will support in identifying trends, risks and opportunities for those areas of responsibility alongside providing commercial insight and business partnering to key stakeholders. Responsibility for all routine sales and KPI reporting for the stores channel falls within the remit of this role.
More about the role
- To support the stores channel by taking the finance lead in completing comprehensive budgets, forecasts and analysis for key costs such as payroll, maintenance, depreciation and travel.
- Work with finance and non-finance teams to ensure accurate and timely month-end close activities and ensure an accurate representation of costs for those areas of responsibility.
- Produce the month-end pack, monthly variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Business partnering the Retail Team to steer decision making through solid financial insights and providing clarity on the key drivers of the performance for Retail Stores.
- To support the Finance Manager in creating key financial models to assist with assessment of capital investment and longer-term strategic planning.
- Support on ad-hoc market projects.
- Responsibility for routine and ad-hoc finance reporting and analysis.
- Where necessary, design and embed effective internal controls.
- Ensure processes adhere to SOX compliance.

- Business partnering skills to influence decision making, drive agenda points and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Strong MS Excel skills – the ability to manage, manipulate and understand large amounts of data in a concise manner alongside strong financial modelling skills.
- Ability to develop and manage efficient processes and internal controls.
- Ability to accurately apply accounting knowledge and judgement.
