Your role in a nutshell
  • Management of the end to end process for Store Openings, Closings, and Remodels (including store plan review, PM timelines for deliverables, hold cross functional teams accountable to ensure all aspects of project delivery, and post opening follow up)
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget and in the scope defined.
  • Partner with RE to define program scope document to put structure and cost to remodel program (light remodel, low scope, full remodel)
  • Partner with global on new shop fit and own how to integrate that into the US market (new/remodel)
  • Owner of the master real estate calendar ensuring projects are balanced based on LL requirements, resource needs, and business timing.
  • Ensuring collaboration amongst cross functional partners to ensure processes are clearly defined, a clear RACI exists and teams are held accountable to hand stores over to the field customer ready.
  • Support new store site selection visits, as needed.
  • Management of maintenance provider and follow up with stores ensuring stores issues are handled within a timely manner established by the SLA. 
  • Develop a clear SLA with Ops, DM’s, stores to ensure that teams are aware of the maintenance hierarchy and response time.
  • Management of field purchase orders

More about the role
  • Weekly meetings with cross-functional partners to ensure successful store openings, closings and remodels
  • Weekly conference calls with store manager and district manager regarding store opening/closing/remodel 
  • Manage maintenance vendor and the annual maintenance budget
  • Schedule preventative maintenance to ensure safety concerns and urgent maintenance needs are consistently met
  • Involved in events or retail communications when required such as:
    • Retail Conferences
    • DSM Meetings
    • Field Webinars
    • Adhoc projects to fuel sales within the Retail organization
  • End to end ownership of process for shop openings, closings, and remodels
  • Anticipated travel 50%-70% based on retail needs and store activity.
