Your role in a nutshell

Based in the Toronto  office, you’ll study and establish all processes within the Supply Chain team, identify gaps, and work across departments to execute proper fix with-in system. You’ll be responsible for building and implementing the Supply Chain Channel strategy aligned with Sales, Commercial, and Marketing expectations and growth aspirations within The Body Shop. You’ll be a role model/mentor to ensure consistent delivery of high class customer service across the teams driving results for all channels through delivering product to support Event Plans and achieve Sales budgets. You’ll support activities for both demand planner and retail analyst and will provide cover for both roles as necessary.You’ll Support the Supply Chain team to deliver on long term purchase plans, driving agility in the supply chain, and will be responsible for reporting KPI’s covering fulfilment of these Purchase Plans.

More about the role
  • Manage & maintain systematic integrity for demand planning & retail analyst with demand planning team
  • Implement action plans to support Demand Planning & Analyst teams with inventory data to maximize KPI requirement for accuracy and fill rates
  • Drive collaboration across commercial, brand, operations & finance partners to ensure total demand plan meets business objectives, on inventory, service & cost for all channels
  • Lead, develop & report on KPIs for demand planning, focus on results & value add
  • Lead NPD sell in process, including NPD launches, comparative product forecasting, phase in/phase out, cannibalisation & obsolescence
  • Challenge  market volume trends
  • Responsible for driving core baseline forecast accuracy improvements to support business plans
  • Lead local S&OP process for given cluster / channels, highlight & drive improvement & ways of working to ensure business plans are realised. Ensure aligned to global S&OP process.
  • Cross departmental communication to ensure all channels are aligned is crititcal
  • Monitor Demand & Retail analysis to ensure all channel needs are met to maximize sales
  • Manage KPI reporting proactively highlighting issues & working with all channels to ensure budget alignment achieved
  • Maintain efficient & timely actions for both demand planner & retail analyst
  • Provide insight & analysis to key stakeholders through monitoring and identifying trends and risks
  • Fluent in demand planning & retail analyst functions
What we look for
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent; Masters preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills 
  • Experience in delivering consistently Supply Chain/ Merchandising/Customer Care, in a multi channel retail environment
  • Understanding of Event planning and NPD process
  • Experience and evidence of influencing cross functionally at a management level
  • Understanding of supply chain/customer care best practice
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of retail supply chain with experience of detailed product planning and order fulfilment
  • A proven track record of improving supply chain operational processes
  • Supplier/Franchise/Wholesale experience
  • Experience in team management and development, or a demonstrable commitment to wanting to develop these skills.
